Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This policy explains how you may delete your CuesHub account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the CuesHub smartphone app, smartwatch app, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by CuesHub, PBC (“CuesHub,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), as distributed on the Apple App Store under the bundle identifier com.cueshub.strion.app and on Google Play under the package name com.cueshub.strion.
Account Requirement
An account is required to use the Services. You may sign in using Google, Apple, or an email address verified by a one-time code. A single account governs all of your devices, so deleting it from any one device deletes it across the Services. Deletion is permanent, cannot be reversed, and no recovery period is provided.
How to Delete Your Account
Two methods are available. You may delete your account directly within the app, or you may submit a request by email if the app is no longer installed. Both methods remove the same data.
Submit a Deletion Request
Deletion requests are accepted by email only. CuesHub does not operate a web form, support portal, or telephone line for these requests. No account, sign-in, or reinstallation of the app is required to use this page.
Email Your Deletion RequestIf the link above does not open a mail application, address an email directly to privacy@cueshub.com using the subject line Account and Data Deletion Request. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
Deletion Within the App
This method takes effect immediately and is available to any signed-in user.
- 1Open the CuesHub app on your iPhone or Android device. The procedure is identical on both platforms.
- 2Open the navigation drawer and select Account.
- 3Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Delete Account and Data.
- 4Review the confirmation dialog and select Delete to confirm.
- 5CuesHub signs you out, disconnects the sign-in provider associated with your account, and returns you to the sign-in screen. Because an account is required to use the Services, you must create a new account if you wish to use CuesHub again.
Deletion by Email Request
Use this method if the app has been uninstalled or you are unable to access your account.
- 1Send an email to privacy@cueshub.com from the address associated with your CuesHub account. This is the only address at which we accept deletion requests.
- 2State the sign-in method used to create the account, whether Google, Apple, or email, so that we can locate the corresponding record.
- 3We acknowledge receipt within five business days and may request additional information to verify that the account belongs to you.
- 4We complete the deletion and confirm it by email within 30 days of verifying your request.
Subscriptions & Billing
CuesHub subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google rather than by CuesHub. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription and does not prevent future charges. You must cancel the subscription separately through the store from which it was purchased.
Apple App Store: open Settings on your iPhone, select your name, select Subscriptions, select CuesHub, and choose Cancel Subscription.
Google Play: open the Play Store app, select your profile icon, select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select CuesHub, and choose Cancel subscription.

Data We Retain
We retain a limited set of data following deletion for purposes of security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, as permitted by applicable law and by the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Records Required by LawTransaction and tax records subject to a statutory retention period. These are retained for the period required by law and deleted thereafter.
- Security & Fraud PreventionA limited set of abuse-prevention records, such as a hashed reference to a deleted account, retained to protect the integrity of the Services.
- Encrypted BackupsDeleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which those backups expire and the data becomes unrecoverable.
- De-identified DataData that can no longer be associated with you or your device may be retained in de-identified or aggregated form for research and product improvement, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Revoking Device Permissions
Deleting your account removes the data we hold. Permissions granted to CuesHub are recorded separately by your operating system, and neither Apple nor Google permits an application to revoke them on your behalf. The steps below withdraw those permissions.
Apple Devices
iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch
- Health data: open Settings, select Health, then Data Access & Devices, select CuesHub, and disable all categories.
- Sign in with Apple: open Settings, select your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, select CuesHub, and choose Stop Using Apple ID.
- Calendars and contacts: open Settings, select Privacy & Security, then Calendars or Contacts, and disable access for CuesHub.
- Removing the app: touch and hold the CuesHub icon, select Remove App, then Delete App. In the Watch app on your iPhone, locate CuesHub and disable Show App on Apple Watch.
Android Devices
Android smartphones and Wear OS
- Health data: open Health Connect, either from Settings or as a standalone app, select App permissions, select CuesHub, and remove all permissions. If Samsung Health was connected, remove CuesHub from its Connected services.
- Google Account access: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, select CuesHub, and choose Remove access to revoke calendar and sign-in authorization.
- Calendar and notifications: open Settings, select Apps, then CuesHub, then Permissions, and revoke Calendar and Notifications.
- Removing the app: touch and hold the CuesHub icon and select Uninstall. On a Wear OS device, open the Play Store on the watch, locate CuesHub, and uninstall it.
Partial Deletion Requests
If you wish to remove specific data while retaining your account, you may revoke individual permissions using the steps above, which halts further collection without closing your account. To request erasure of data we already hold while keeping your account open, write to privacy@cueshub.com and identify the data concerned.
Smartwatches & Connected Devices
If you use CuesHub on an Apple Watch or a Wear OS device, keep the device paired and within range while deleting your account so that data held locally on the watch is cleared as part of the same operation. If the device was not connected at the time of deletion, removing the CuesHub watch app clears any remaining data.
